Job Summary
Open Space Therapy Collective is currently seeking a therapist to provide therapy for LGBTQ+ clients. OSTC fosters a collaborative approach to all of our work. We are seeking a therapist who is looking to join a collaborative, mutually supportive, and growing team of committed therapists. As an organization and a team, we are deeply engaged in community building and activism, and we seek a new hire who shares our commitment to advocacy and collective care.
The position requires a 15-client caseload minimum, with the opportunity to grow to a 25-client caseload.
BBS registration or license required to be considered: LPCC/APCC, LCSW/ASW, LMFT/MFT.
(Pending BBS applications can not be considered).
Job Responsibilities
Provide therapy for 15+ clients per week, as caseload grows.
Meet deadlines, including day-of documentation and meeting preparation.
Attend weekly staff meetings, clinical and administrative supervision meetings (three total meetings per week).
Be a proactive participant and active collaborator in OSTC projects.
Participate in marketing content creation, including podcasts and social media.
Develop community partnerships and resource building.
Help us plan, develop, and grow into the community hub we envision – the “collective” in Open Space Therapy Collective!

Knowledgeable about the LGBTQ community; well versed in LGBTQ issues and identities.

Qualifications
Possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent program.
Must be registered with the BBS and have a license/associate number (We cannot accept applications for people waiting on the BBS for their application to be accepted).
Associates must have 500 supervised hours completed.
Two years of work therapy/counseling experience (excluding internships) in mental health/direct client service required.
Be available to work at least three days a week, including two evenings. Work on site at the office in Silver Lake at least 2 days per week. Attend group meetings on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons.
Benefits
$40-$75/hr depending on qualifications and experience.
Licensed Therapists: Monthly clinical consult group, bi-weekly one-on-ones with CD or CEO
Associates: Weekly supervision for all client contact hours

Medical, vision, and dental insurance available. Insurance reimbursement provided for staff who do not need insurance through OSTC.
