Therapy for Neurodiversity

Be as big as your imagination

You feel disconnected from people.

You may feel that you are out of place, or the world isn’t made for you. It feels like other people are speaking another language and it’s hard to know how you’re supposed to do that.

Sometimes sensations can come out of nowhere and feel overwhelming.

You may feel like it’s tough or even impossible to get things done. You struggle to start tasks and projects, or to get anything done.

You find yourself fidgety and restless, bouncing your leg or using a spinner, but no one understands why you can’t sit still. You feel so uncomfortable physically or emotionally that you feel like you have to escape.

You feel like you can’t measure up to other people’s expectations. You feel like you’re always letting others down or that people are annoyed with you.

Your brain works differently.

Neurodivergence can leave you feeling alone or disconnected from friends, community, or at work. It may feel like a huge challenge to know how to talk to other people or connect with others in a meaningful way.

It can be isolating when others don’t understand or have no empathy for the way you experience the world.

Connect Your Way.

Therapy can help you put names to feelings, experiences, and your needs.

We can help you build communication skills that you want to work on, and to help others understand what your needs are.

We can find ways to cope that help you feel comfortable in your own skin.

We will help you change your relationship to the things you are experiencing, working with your experiences, share with others, and even appreciate and enjoy. We will help you to be the best, most authentic version of your unique self.
