In uncertain and challenging times, the future can feel overwhelming and isolating—especially for LGBTQ+ individuals. This group was created to respond to those feelings and offer a space for connection, understanding, and mutual support.
Together, we’ll create a compassionate and brave community to navigate these challenges. By holding space for one another, we’ll foster empowerment, practice self-care, and uplift each other through collective resilience.

Who is the Support Group For?
This group is for adults (18+) who identify as Queer and/or LGBTQ+ and are seeking connection with peers in a safe, supportive, and affirming community. Open to participants nationwide across the U.S.
What is this LGBTQ+ Support Group?
A 90-minute virtual support group led by queer mental health professionals, offering identity-affirming care and a safe space to navigate the challenges of an uncertain and often hostile political climate.
Topics We’ll Explore Together:
Navigating uncertainty and isolation
Exploring identity
Coping with distress tied to the political landscape
Accessing care and navigating systems (including gender-affirming care)
Managing anxiety

About the Facilitators
Jenny Nigro, ASW (they/them)
Jenny is a dedicated mental health professional with a strong focus on supporting LGBTQ+ individuals as they navigate identity, anxiety, and systemic challenges. With a deep understanding of queer experiences, they are passionate about fostering spaces of affirmation, connection, and healing for those seeking support.
Ernesto Martinez, AMFT, APCC (he/they)
Ernesto is a skilled therapist committed to providing queer-informed and identity-affirming care. He specializes in helping individuals connect with their resilience, process their experiences within oppressive systems, and build meaningful, empowering connections within their communities.
