Therapy for Our
Queer & Trans Community

Chosen self, chosen community.

You want to live authentically.

I long for the feeling of being free – to have light, authentic, and balanced relationships. I want relationships where I am cared for as much as I am caring for others.

I am afraid. I want to express myself more authentically but am scared of the backlash. I am scared that people will make a big deal about it, even if they try to support me.

Life doesn’t exist in the binary, and I’m happily moving around in the middle. But I feel alone. I am missing a community that sees me and experiences life like me. I am tired of being misgendered and constantly having to explain myself. I want to exist, be seen, and be valued.

Feel understood and supported.

People in the Queer and Trans community have a unique way of being in the world. You need a therapist who is part of the LGBTQ community and understands what it’s like to be a nonbinary or queer person.

Someone with personal experience living your truth can provide the support you need. You need a therapist who knows that being truthful makes you feel separate from everybody else.

Connecting with a therapist who understands can help you embody your most authentic self, have genuine and caring relationships, and a community that sees and celebrates who you are.

Therapy empowers you.

While working together, we will focus on ways to reduce your fear of expressing who you are and how you feel inside. We want to empower you as you express your gender and sexual identity.

There is no pressure or expectation for you to be anyone except who you are. The therapy process reflects who you are and where you are in your growth process.

While your Queer or Trans identity may be the starting point, you are more than this identity. We will address the issues you choose to reach the goals that you define. Our sessions will match the best way that you choose to process and grow.

The right therapist makes a difference.

What’s it like to work with a Queer and Trans-knowledgeable therapist?

The nice thing about working with someone in the LGBTQ community is that you don’t need to teach us anything.

You will never feel judged about your lifestyle, identity (or in the process of exploring your identity), sexual practices, or relationships.

We will support and celebrate you as you achieve your goals, change harmful patterns, and become the best version of YOU.
