Meet Sierra

(she/her/ella): Assoc. Marriage & Family Therapist
Adults, Couples, & Non-Monogamous Partners

You deserve to feel more secure, connected, and confident.

Do you feel like you keep having the same argument over and over again with your partner(s)?

Therapy can help you navigate conflict in a healthier way. With tools for healthy communication and emotional regulation, you’ll learn to shift from reactivity to responsiveness.

If you’d like to feel more secure, connected, and confident about sex, sexuality, and intimacy,  I’d love to work with you.

Perhaps you struggle to identify and communicate your desires, needs, thoughts, and emotions. Through therapy, you’ll gain the confidence to express and honor your experience.

Grow with Confidence & Pride

I invite clients to explore their experiences, emotions, identities, and patterns from a place of curiosity. I offer a space where my clients can feel comfortable and confident diving deeper into topics that are deemed “taboo” by society.

Through empathy and humor, I compassionately challenge my clients to encourage their growth and expand their perspective.

You are the Author of Your Own Story

Together, we will work towards creating the kind of life, relationships, and connections you desire.

You will identify the narratives, cultural beliefs, values, and societal worldviews that have influenced the ways in which you exist in the world in order to identify what still holds true for you and gracefully let go of what no longer does.

Identity & the In-between

As a queer, cisgender woman of Mexican, Polish, and Czechoslovakian descent, I occupy a lot of the in-between spaces in society. I have always been interested in how family, culture, and society shape how we navigate the world and our intersecting identities. I got into mental health to be the type of therapist that I wish I had on my journey - someone who creates a space for people to feel seen and be heard, where you can show up as your beautiful, messy self.

I have a B.A. in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapy (#138622), and am supervised by Renae Johnson LPCC #6018 and Kristen Crowe LPCC #5451.

My first language was Spanish, but I predominantly speak English.

Creating life outside of therapy

What I enjoy more than drinking my morning cafecito is picking which mug I am going to drink it out of! Collecting fun and quirky mugs is one of the many joys in my life that brighten up my day. Salsa is another joy in my life - and yes, I’m talking about the dance AND the food. I think dogs are the BEST gift on earth and I will FURever call them “puppies” regardless of how old they are.
